The Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) is project coordinator in the SEANERGYS project.

At Forschungszentrum Jülich it operates one of the most powerful supercomputer infrastructures in Europe and hosts the first European Exascale supercomputer JUPITER. In funded projects and co-operations, the centre drives developments towards modular Exascale systems and tackles the challenges associated with scaling up applications for next-gen supercomputers.

Role in SEANERGYS

  • JSC leads the SEANERGYS project with its extensive experience in managing and coordinating EU-projects, like the DEEP Projects and SEA project series, that paved the way for SEANERGYS.
  • JSC contributes in several areas to SEANERGYS, including project management, research, technology development, testing, prototyping and demonstration, communication and dissemination, as well as education and training.
  • Moreover, JSC will also provide essential research infrastructure and co-define research and market needs.
